My name is Joshua Mejia, I am a freelance filmmaker-photographer based out of the Los Angeles area. I am multi-faceted across all areas of production.

In my photography, I try to capture that something more. With portraits/headshots along with capturing ones physical appearance, I aim for drawing the eye to that unique inner part of a person. The part that can’t be explained in words, only felt. With street photography, my goal is to bring out the parts of life that are looked at everyday but never seen. To immerse oneself into the stillness of a single moment of time that contains no words. 

In filmmaking and videography, I follow the same philosophy in my photography only conveying it through the moving mosaic of time. I have worked on many projects ranging from short films to music videos, news videos, and everything in between attempting to implement that philosophy throughout all my work.
